Beginner's job

Here's a nice job I found on Control Engineering, pretty much the same career I'm studying, I like everything related to automation and control so that's why I'd chose this job as my first one.
Here's some of the duties I would have to fulfill:
In the facility, the Technician will perform assembly, integration, factory testing, and maintenance/repairs on equipment/systems within his or her area of expertise in accordance with OES standards and procedures and in accordance with OII Safety Standards.
-Perform field installation, test/debug, and repair of equipment/systems within his/her area of expertise as directed by the Technical Supervisor, Field Engineer or a Senior Technician.
-The Technician is responsible for applying the necessary skills to ensure safe, efficient conduct of the work under the Technician’s cognizance.
-Travel on short notice (as little as twelve hours) world-wide, is required with lengthy durations of stay (months) at remote destinations.
-The Technician must be qualified physically to perform strenuous manual work in heavy construction environments including performing work on ladders and in very confined spaces.
